At the trial of the accused, the third man was accused of cruelty to cats ("sister," or "uncle"), but they were just starting out; all the other ones who had been accused of cruelty to kittens were just beginning to understand that "this" is a serious charge! I don't have much time to digress from the point I made after the conclusion of the trial.
